WORKSHOP FOR MUSEUMS
Bookings to email@example.com by Monday 25th July, 2016.
Please be sure to book, for catering purposes.
A disaster can take many forms in a museum situation. It is not always a tidal wave or a fire.
It can be as simple as a blocked gutter causing water to run down the walls of a museum or gallery.
Managing a disaster starts with planning for a disaster and being prepared to manage it.
This workshop will cover how to prepare and write a disaster plan, along with some tips for salvage
procedures for cleaning up after a disaster.
This workshop is presented by Illawarra Museum and proudly supported by Wollongong City Council.
The workshop is funded by a grant through Museums and Galleries NSW
